    Buildings Magazine, one of the industry's leading publications, highlights the importance of new smart meters, with direct quotes from MetEnergy CEO Mike Munson.

    Phil Carson at Intelligent Utility Daily writes an in-depth story of the future Chicago Smart Grid project, in which MetEnergy has been deeply involved.  The story details the evolution of the project and its potential for future tangible benefits to the nationwide electric grid.

    The Chicago Tribune offers a story that highlights the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Chicago-area organizations and Korean companies to develop a downtown Chicago Smart Grid.  MetEnergy was integral in drafting, initializing and proposing the project. 
  • Korea to bankroll ’smart’ Chicago skyscrapers (July 21, 2010)
    Julie Wernau from the Chicago Tribune explains the new initiative between BOMA/Chicago and Korean companies to implement a Smart Grid in downtown Chicago.  MetEnergy has been working with both BOMA/Chicago and the Korean companies to develop this project and get the parties to signed the memorandum of understanding.
  • Korean firms to fund BOMA/Chicago’s commercial smart grid program (July 21, 2010)
    REJournals.com outlines thhe memorandum of understanding signed between BOMA/Chicago, Citizens Utility Board, the Illinois Science and Technology Coalition, the korean Smart Grid Association, KT Corporation, and LG Electronics, which will develop a commercial smart grid pilot program for office buildings in downtown Chicago.  MetEnergy designed this pilot program and will be working closely with the companies involved to implement the project.
